The house is built on a plot with a steep slope and dense vegetation. With the premise of minimizing the impact on the terrain, is is proposed a a floating construction that rests on pillars.
The construction is entirely dry, using prefabricated elements for both the structure and enclosures, including sandwich panels with metallic cladding for the facade. This approach ensures lightweight construction with fast execution times, simplifies the construction process and reduces waste generation.
Comprising two bodies, one with two floors dedicated to housing and the other with one floor exclusively for music. The latter, designed by express request of a passionate music-loving client, follows the proportions of the Golden Trapagon. Beyond aesthetics, this design pursues specific functionality by eliminating stationary waves and parallel surface echoes, thus creating an acoustically ideal space to enjoy music. The residential part features spacious rooms, open spaces with abundant natural light, and cross ventilation for the comfort of the inhabitants.
The pool is located within the built structure, on the first floor, seeking height to achieve better views while also receiving as much direct sunlight as possible amidst the vegetation.
In summary, it is a unique project that combines construction technology with environmental sensitivity and functionality, meeting the requirements and needs of the client.
