Currently, the remains of Guimerà Castle, a medieval fortification, still stand. Perched on a rocky elevation, the castle once held a strategic position, providing control over the area and offering stunning views of the surroundings.
The project aims to partially reconstruct these ruins to create two rural dwellings that retain the essence of the original structures while blending seamlessly with the landscape. Traditional, locally sourced materials and construction techniques will be employed to ensure harmony with the environment. The dwellings will share a communal outdoor space, thoughtfully designed to include a garden and areas for outdoor leisure activities.
