This playground project addresses an undefined boundary of Tarragona beach with strategically organized playground and restaurant along the plot. Inspired by the maritime world, it emphasizes user experience and location potential.
The outdoor design offers diverse environments, including shaded areas, age-appropriate play spaces, and various games to stimulate children’s curiosity.
The pavement plays a central role as a cohesive element, with a colorful rubber surface and organic geometry facilitating smooth transitions between spaces.
As a finishing touch and visual attraction, a boat-shaped structure is proposed at the end of the route, harmoniously blending with the surroundings. Its interior houses a two-story restaurant, with the ground floor separating the main dining area from the kitchen and services, while the first floor features a privileged panoramic terrace/viewpoint.
In summary, Parc La Plataforma represents a balance of design, functionality, and environmental sensitivity.
