The house is designed to close off from the north orientation and the street, opening up to the midday sun and distant views.
The L-shaped volumetry provides perimeter privacy while creating intimate, high-quality spaces that revolve around a well-oriented garden. The robust language of the construction system, also evident in the facade, reinforces the project’s message of privacy and seclusion. It combines the hardness of concrete with the warmth of wood, allowing for large openings that can also be fully closed to create a completely opaque facade.
The topographic slope of the plot is addressed by creating greater height in the common areas, while the wing of the master bedroom adapts to the higher area of the terrain.
Overall, the final goal of the project is to create a living space for its inhabitants that is comfortable, high-quality, safe, and sustainable.
